Hi, honey! No, we didn't. I was going to call you this weekend to talk about it.

Let's have you and dad join us for Christmas, so Nathan and I will fly out to you for Thanksgiving. It'll be easier that way with work, I think. I've been so busy this month and I don't know what November will bring.

That sounds great, sweetie! Your father and I will be so happy to celebrate both holidays with you two.

Hello, Miss Sarah. How's Nathan today?

He's doing great! He can't stop chattering about how excited he is for Trick-or-Treating tonight. I have his costume out and ready for when you get home.

Thank you so much, I appreciate that. I also wanted to talk about something before I forget again. Regarding my busy work weeks - I believe I have another coming up the third week of this month. It hopefully won't be as intensive as when I had to fly you out to NYC, but I was wondering if you would either be able to stay with us at our apartment or if he could stay with you. Do you have a preference?

I'm fine with whichever is most convenient for you, Ms. Kincaid! It'd be easier to stay with you two so that we don't have to transfer over all of his things, but if you feel that you need more space and quiet... he can stay with me.

Hmm, it might be best to play it by ear and see how the week turns out. Please pencil it in your schedule, at the very least. I'm unsure if it will be the week of the 11th or the 18th. If it's the latter then Nathan and I will be flying out to my parents for Thanksgiving anyway, so it would be a shorter work week for you. Regardless of what happens, you will have Wednesday through Sunday off for Thanksgiving.
